Smoothies For Breakfasts & Snacks
Smoothies are my go-to for a really great quick breakfast or snack option. If you don't own a small personal Magic Bullet blender, I highly
recommend purchasing one. I use mine everyday ... it is so handy
and clean up is a breeze! Try to choose
at least 1 ingredient from each category for a fully balanced
boost of energy: Smoothies are also a really great way to use up
any produce that may be expiring soon. Experiment with some of your favorite fruits
and vegetables! Add some ice and blend!
Fruits
Bananas - Bananas are great for thickening your smoothie. You can also cut
them up and put them in the freezer and use them frozen. Great
way to use old bananas instead of throwing them out!
Fresh or frozen berries such as blueberries, strawberries,
raspberries, etc. Berries are very high in antioxidants
and are therefore a perfect addition to a smoothie!
Fresh or frozen pineapple, mango, kiwi, cherries, pears, green apples,
red apples, or any of your
favorites! Experiment!
